DENTURES

Dentures are removable oral appliances that replace missing teeth and rely solely on the anatomy of your ridge and gum for retention. There are many types of dentures, including partial, complete, immediate,  implant retained dentures, and implant supported dentures. With proper care and maintenance, the average lifespan of a denture should last up to 10 years. Dentures can be made out of acrylic, a combination of metal, usually Cobalt and chromium, and ceramic. We make sure to use nickel free metal alloys to prevent allergic reactions.

Partial dentures replace several missing teeth and  have special clasps that hook around your remaining natural teeth, providing additional stability.

Complete dentures replace an entire arch of missing teeth.

Immediate dentures are temporary appliances placed in the mouth immediately after the teeth are extracted. Once you’ve healed, we will replace them with your final dentures. There are  denture reline procedures where one can transfer an immediate denture to a complete final denture
